Each team is required to purchase a National Destination ImagiNation Membership to participate. Purchasing a membership will give you full access to all the 2009/10 Challenges, the Rules of the Road, Team Manager’s Guide, Building Coordinators Guide and much more. Schools or PTOs are the main purchasers of memberships but businesses and individuals can also participate. Please check with your Regional Director about Regional Tournament fees.
Destination ImagiNation memberships can be purchased in several different sizes. The costs listed below include both DI, Inc. fees and the Colorado Affiliate membership fees. The Colorado fees help pay for all Team Manager Trainings, Appraiser Trainings and various other events and workshops throughout the year.
The following Memberships are available. The costs shown include the Nationals and the Colorado Affiliate fees:
Risings Stars! 1-Team Pak allows anyone to put together a team of students no older than 2nd grade to participate in this non-competitive Rising Stars! Challenge. Rising Stars! teams may also be part of a Domestic 5-Pak membership or a 30-Pak membership. Cost is $55.
Domestic 1-Team Pak allows anyone to put together a team with no more than 7 participants (kindergarten through high school) and to register one team to participate in a Team Challenge at any level (Elementary, Middle or Secondary). Cost is $195.00
Domestic 5-Team Pak allows a school to register up to five teams with no more than 7 participants each any Team Challenge at any level (Rising Stars!, Elementary, Middle, or Secondary). Cost is $495.00 ($99.00 per team if all 5 teams are used).
30-Pak allows a recognized school system or a recognized local chapter of a community organization that serves children to register up to 30 teams of no more than 7 participants each in a Team Challenge at any level (Rising Stars!, Elementary, Middle or Secondary). Cost is $2880.00 ($95.00 per team if all 30 teams are used).
Purchase your Destination ImagiNation membership any time through January 15, 2010. Memberships are non-refundable. You might want to check with your Regional Director about the possibility of being part of a 30-Pak prior to purchasing one of the other memberships. Program materials will be released on September 1, 2009.
